Coming to us LIVE from Tokyo, Japan, Matthew will be talking about the state of photography around the world and how photographers, clients, models, and the industry are learning to pivot and reinvent in these challenging times.
Since March of 2020, many of us have “shut down,” some of us have “pivoted,” and others have simply wondered “what’s next?”. We’ll spend some time with Matthew to see how he has continued photographing, hosting multiple art exhibits, living his daily life, and remaining creative with everything that the world has thrown at photographers, industries, and people around the world in 2020.

Matthew Jordan Smith is an American photographer best known for his portraits of celebrities and actors. Oprah Winfrey, Halle Berry, Jennifer Connelly, Martha Stewart, Aretha Franklin and Samuel L. Jackson are just a few of the stars that he has worked with over the last three decades.
He has shot numerous magazine covers, advertising campaigns, and editorial assignments around the world and his client list includes Olay, Pantene, Revlon, Sony Entertainment, HBO, Showtime and more.
