Ride up and over Mt. San Jacinto State Park in the world’s largest rotating tramcars, and take in the spectacular 360-degree views. Starting from the valley floor, the trams’ 2.5-mile route ascends 5,873 feet up into the pristine wilderness of the park.
At the top of the mountain, the 14,000-acre Mt. San Jacinto State Park offers 54 miles of hiking trails, campgrounds, a ranger station, and an Adventure Center.
Take in the amazing views of the valley floor from Mountain Station observation decks, check out the Natural History Museum, or get a bite to eat at one of the two restaurants or the cocktail lounge.
Finish your visit by watching a special documentary on the history of the tramway, then take the tram back down to the valley floor, watching the Sonoran Desert as you descend.
