In this session, Irene Bowers, a specialist in computer artistry, will do a live Photoshop demonstration of how to push and punish pixels for turning what she considers a less-than-ideal image into an “image competition winner” that tells a story.
Before the event, registrants will receive a link to download a demo image to edit alongside Irene during the live webinar.

Meet our guest
Irene Bowers, is a local and international award-winning photographer specializing in computer artistry. While she enjoys many different genres of photography, she is particularly drawn to translating her background and skills as a technical illustrator and artist into the photographic realm, creating composites that are both vivid and visionary.
Whether creating simple portraits or a complex composition, Photoshop is the medium upon which she builds her images into painterly works of art. She loves using digital media as a vehicle to bridge photography with her imagination. Her goal is to earn her Master Artis degree through the Professional Photographers of America.

What does a Level 1 event mean?
Each of our events lists a recommended level of experience (1-3). By categorizing our events using this method, we hope to better inform you of what you need to know and how to best prepare so that you can get the most out of your attendance.
A level 1 event means that the instruction provided will be focused on beginners and intermediates, so no previous knowledge or experience of the topic is expected.
Please Note: Anyone is welcome to attend any class level, however, the pace and content may not be at your current skill level. If this is the case, please expect to attend with the expectation to observe rather than engage. As with all of our educational events, we will always make every effort to accommodate all attendees regardless of their experience level.
