Join us with photographer, speaker, and educator, Frederick Van Johnson of This Week In Photo (TWiP), for his take on time travel for photographers. We’ll begin the day with Frederick’s program where he’ll provide step-by-step guidance, share practical tips, and give creative insights to help you capture amazing photographs with confidence.
After Frederick’s program, we will break for dinner. Following dinner, you will have an opportunity to play with lighting, models, smoke machines and bubbles. This will be the perfect time to put into practice some of the technique Frederick will share.
In this hands-on workshop, you will:
- Manipulate Light for Long Exposures: Learn how to use light painting and other techniques to create stunning, ethereal images that captivate the viewer’s imagination.
- Master Multiple Exposures: Discover the secrets to combining multiple shots into a single frame, producing surreal and dynamic compositions.
- Create Cinemagraphs: Blend the best of photography and videography to produce mesmerizing moving images that tell a story.
- Achieve Levitation Effects: Explore the techniques behind creating the illusion of levitation, adding a magical element to your photos.
