1. Learn how Duane interacts with his clients to not only educate them but to have them invested emotionally and monetarily before their photographs have ever even been created.
2. Learn how he simplifies the process for the client so it is easy for them to purchase on the same day of their session and know exactly what he is photographing for…. Hint, it’s not 200 photos in hopes of selling 4 or 5 good ones.
3. He will share the why’s of why his clients want to purchase artwork instead of trying to sell them collections, pictures, photos, or artwork. Duane’s average client currently spends over $3000 per order.
Bring your cameras and notepads! The first half will be lecture with photographing after lunch.

Meet Our Instructor: Duane Murphy
Duane Murphy is the owner of Great American Portraits™ located in Santa Ana, CA. Great American Portraits™ was started in his home part-time in 2001 and has become Duane’s primary and full-time studio. He received his Craftsman degree in 2022 and will complete his Masters Degree in 2023.
Duane and Great American Portraits™ focus on celebrating the relationships between family members (People and/or Pets) and celebrating the times yet to be had, not memories already passed. We can’t change yesterday, but we can choose how we will spend tomorrow and who we will spend it with.
